How do I book?
Visit our website at www.cru.studio and push “Book Now” then follow the prompts to schedule your beautification. You can book as early as 3 hours before your desired appointment or up to months in advance.
Is a consultation included?
Before your appointment begins, your CRU Pro will complete a customized consultation that dives deep into your goals for the service. Our CRU Pros will factor in any inspiration that you provide, as well as your hair color, texture, cut, face shape, skin color, and other factors to make sure you are both on the same page and set realistic expectations for your look.
How long is the appointment?
All appointment lengths vary depending on the service. A blowout takes up to 45 minutes depending on length and density of your hair, but can take up to approximately 1 hour if you decide to add Extensions, an Accessory, or a Styling Lesson.
A hair treatment is a quick and highly beneficial service, taking just 30 min.
Makeup services take approximately 1 hour for just makeup, and 90 minutes if you scheduled a Makeup Lesson.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
For all services we request that you wear a button/zip down shirt or robe, as to preserve your look when the service is complete.
For a blowout, braid or blowout with an updo, we request that you have “wet, blow dry ready hair”. This means your hair should be freshly washed and towel dried 10-15 minutes prior to your CRU Pro’s arrival. Make sure your hair is damp, but not soaking wet.
For updos, we request that you shampoo the morning of your appointment and refrain from using hot tools (i.e. straightener or curling iron) in your hair, however a blow dryer is ok.
For makeup, please have a makeup-free, cleansed and moisturized face prior to your CRU Pro’s arrival.
CRU Pros will have products and tools with them, but please let them know if you have any allergies or sensitivities of which we should be aware.
How do I prep my home/office/space for a CRU Pro?
We are adaptable creatures and come fully prepared! All we need from you is a chair and a cleared off table nearby for our tools. If you are receiving a makeup service done, it is best to position ourselves near a natural light source or the area with the best lighting in your space. CRU Stylists are equipped with an extension cord, but it is easiest to be within 8 feet of an outlet.
There is no need to do anything special to your space before your CRU Pro arrives. We understand life can get messy, laundry can pile up, and kids are small tiny cyclones…we don’t judge. We are here to make you feel like you’re on a private beach basking in the sun. :)
What if I want to modify my appointment to add extensions, an accessory, or lashes?
You got it! Whatever your adjustments are, we are here to help make you feel your best! You can either modify your appointment beforehand by calling/texting CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 or telling your CRU Pro before you start your appointment.
What styles do you offer?
CRU Pros are skilled at their craft. They can create fully customized hair and makeup looks with that techniques that highlight your features. If you need inspiration, or have a certain look in mind, Pinterest is a great source of imagery! We’d be happy to take your inspiration and bring it to life.
If I don’t know what I want, will my CRU Pro know what to do?
CRU Pros have got your back. They will go over looks they think will compliment your face shape and personal style best.
Can I get both hair and makeup done at the same time? I am looking to have both services done, but I’m pressed for time.
Absolutely! Our CRU Pros are trained to work in tandem with one another. So sit back, relax and let your CRU pamper you!
What if I’m running late for my appointment?
If you are running late, it is best to notify the CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 as soon as possible. If we have the availability to adjust your appointment to accommodate the delay, we will absolutely do so. If our schedule does not allow for an appointment adjustment, our CRU Pro will try to work their magic in the time originally allotted.
Please note, that if you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled, and you will be charged for the full amount of your service.
What if I can’t book an appointment for my desired date and time?
All appointments are subject to availability. Our peak days of operation include Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is always best to book in advance if possible. If you are still having issues booking your desired time and date, please contact our CRU Cares Team to see if we can accommodate your needs.
Can I book times that are not listed on the website?
We will always try our best to accommodate your request. Call or text our CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 or email email@example.com and we will see what we can do!
How do I pay?
We don’t like surprises other than for birthdays and we prefer to leave math to accountants, so our pricing is ALL-INCLUSIVE! Once you select your services in the booking process online, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information to pay a 50% refundable deposit to secure your appointment. This price already includes the cost of the service(s) you selected, and 20% gratuity! The only adjustments to your bill when you check-out will be for additional services rendered or parking should your PRO be unable to find free parking. And that’s it!
If you would like to give an additional tip, you can pass that along directly to your CRU Pro, but it is not necessary, nor expected.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If changes or a cancellation to your appointment need to be made, you can do so via our CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our Cancellation Policy* is as follows:
If an appointment is cancelled more than 24 hours in advance, there is no charge, your deposit will be refunded and we’d be happy to reschedule your appointment for a more convenient time!
If you cancel between 2-24 hours in advance of appointment, your 50% deposit will be forfeited.
If you cancel 2 hours or less, or no show for your appointment, you will be charged the full amount of the service.
* The timestamp on your correspondence for cancellation (email or voicemail) will indicate the time of your cancellation and the fee will be calculated accordingly.
How much does CRU cost?
Please refer to the BOOK section of the website for a more detailed description of services and costs, but services range anywhere from $65+ depending on your selection.
Help! I have permanent extensions in my hair, can CRU still style me?
We are here to help! Call or text our CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 or email email@example.com if you have extensions, both permanent or if would like to have “clip-in” extensions installed and styled.
What about parking for CRU Pros? My hotel or building only offers valet parking.
Our CRU Pros are instructed to first seek out free parking. If they are unable to find a space in a reasonable amount of time or distance from your location, they reserve the right to charge you or your room with the parking fee. In the event that the valet does not allow room charges, our CRU Pro will be notified to add the charge to your final service receipt. If you are able to extend a parking pass or other parking discounts to your CRU Pro, please call or text our CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
What products and tools do the CRU Pros carry with them?
CRU Pro Stylist’s kit contains a blowdryer, flat iron, curling irons, brushes, combs, clips, an updo kit, and a selection of Kevin Murphy styling products.
CRU Pro Artist’s kit includes an array of light skincare and makeup products in order to create a variety of natural beauty looks.
Every CRU Pro meets our high standards of professionalism and cleanliness per Colorado State Board of Cosmetology.
Can my CRU Pro Artist add faux lashes during my makeup appointment?
Yes! Artists carry a variety of faux lashes ranging from natural to dramatic. You or your CRU Pro can supply faux one-time lashes and we will apply them for an additional $15.
Can my CRU Pro Stylist add hair extensions?
Yes! For an additional $20, you can provide clip-in extensions that our CRU Pro Stylist will install. Please alert us in advance of your appointment by either phone or text our CRU Cares Team at 720.726.1107 or email email@example.com, so we can account for the extra time it takes to install and style the extensions.
What areas do you service?
We go wherever you go. But the following areas are in our primary service area and will not incur an additional travel fee: Denver Metro, Highlands, Cherry Creek, Washington Park, University, Cherry Hills, Littleton, Lone Tree, Englewood, Highlands Ranch, Centennial, Parker, Boulder, Frederick, Firestone, Eerie, Westminster, Northglenn, Broomfield, Arvada, Wheatridge, Thornton, and Brighton.

Do you do weddings?
CRU loves weddings! We offer high-quality, professional hair and makeup services for the entire the bridal party. We can be with you throughout the entire process starting with engagement photos, bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner as well as the big day and more. Can I buy CRU services as a gift for someone?
You betcha! You can purchase gift cards by going to the SHOP section of the website. We sell digital gift cards that will fit any occasion.
Do you do large parties or corporate events?
We do! We offer custom packages for parties of 4+ people where we create the experience that fits the occasion. These packages can include a variety of services ranging from full styling and makeup application, to spending 20 min/person doing dry styling, and makeup touch ups. Help! I am at the office and need my hair done, do I still need to have wet hair for a blowout?
While freshly shampooed hair is recommended, it is not required! Our CRU Pros are equipped with a spray bottle so they can give you a little spritz before they begin your style.
I had a problem with my service, who do I contact?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. Once your service is complete, your CRU Pro will go over or tweak anything that isn’t just right. If at that point, your experience still isn’t quite living up to your expectations, we would love to hear your feedback. Who are the CRU Pros coming to my home or office?
Our talented CRU Pros are carefully selected, and extensively trained. Each and every one is required to have professional work experience, pass background check and character assessment.
After initial hire, every Pro goes through our extensive CRU Certification Training Program, regardless of their experience to ensure that they meet our high-standards of service and quality. Rest assured knowing you have the best of the best taking care of your beautification!
Can I choose my CRU Pro Stylist or Makeup Artist?
We will do our absolute best to accommodate you and your requests for the CRU Pro of your choice. Since CRU is an on-demand service however, we can not guarantee your request will be applied due to Pro availability. If it is important to you that you always have the same CRU Pro, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone/text at 720.726.1107.
Do you offer any discounts on packages?
We currently do not offer discounts on bundles or packages, but we love your feedback and if this is something you’d like us to offer, please do not hesitate to reach out.
When and how are tax and gratuity charged?
A 20% gratuity is included in our ALL-INCLUSIVE pricing on services. If there is any applicable tax on product purchases it will be added to your final bill upon completion of your service and/or purchase of product. No need to have cash on hand at your appointment, unless you choose to give an additional tip in excess of that 20%, which you can hand directly to your CRU Pro…but it is absolutely NOT required or expected.
Can I get a refund on gift certificates or digital gift cards?
All gift certificates and digital gift cards are non-refundable.
